Lest declare a war to the sweat stains!

We dress and we love our favourite cloths, for some of those we can even create an affection. But after a long-term wearing, unpleasant sweat stains occur. If you still haven’t found a suitable detergent for stain removal or stain prevention, you could use the old fashioned recipes.

Peroxide for sweat stains

One of the best solutions for sweat stain removal form white fabrics is the peroxide. It connects with the proteins, which are contained by the sweat leftovers on the cloths and removes it. This is how you can prevent the gradual darkening and yellowing. You should mix equal amounts of water and peroxide and then soak the cloths for 30 minutes in the solution, after that rinse the cloths with cold water. If the stains are however too tough and suborn you must prepare stronger solution and repeat the process. The colourful textiles you should treat however differently, due to the fact that the peroxide is having bleaching features.

For the colourful cloths – apple vinegar

If you consider that the peroxide is too strong solution for your colourful cloths, than you should use the safe features of the vinegar. Mix 1 spoon of apple vinegar with 100 ml water in order to remove the stubborn sweat stains form your cloths. Soak the cloths for 20-30 minutes in the solution and then wash it with cold water.

Solution for the unpleasant smell – backing soda

Sometimes, even after a careful wash, the unpleasant sweat smell remains. In order to remove both the unpleasant smell and the sweat stains form the cloths, you can use the miracle powers of the backing soda. You should mix it with water, until a thick mash is achieved. Apply the mash on the stained spots. While after you must wash it, using the instructions given on the cloth label.

Aspirin – not for a headache, but for clean cloths

Mill into small pieces 3 aspirin pills and add a sip of cool water, in order a mash to to be reached. With a small brush (you can also use an old tooth brush) you must scrub it into the stain and leave it for 20-30 minutes. Then wash with a cool water.

Yellow stains

After a multiple wear yellow stains might occur on the light cloths. If you don’t take the needed matters on time the yellowing is nearly unavoidable. If any way stains are already to be seen you can use also some bleach to remove them.
